One of the best lift sites in Snoqualmie Pass. Super chill, not very crowded, lots of long runs with variety of difficulties and beautiful terrain. Lines are normally shorter than in the other sites. Too bad they only open on weekends.

Quiet and nobody was here today, 3rd January 2023. The ski lift was closed. But it's perfect for a slow stroll in the packed snow. My dogs loved the quiet n free space available to run around freely.

Great skiing, though the conditions were tough that day. 6" of fresh powder. Freak storm knocked out the power, so no lifts. 5 mile slog up the hill to Windy Pass; fun descent back down!

Our 5 yr old got lost while skiing down the green, he was too fast for me to follow and I lost him. Anxious as I was, I remembered to talk to the staff and asked them for help. Ski patrol found him and took him into the ski patrol room. I was so happy to see him safe! Thank you staff! And btw the snow was really good too.

If you're in Seattle, it will take you less than an hour to get here to ski. The "Summit at Snoqualmie" actually includes four ski areas and your ticket lets you ski all of them. They are immediately off the I90 freeway so access is easy and, unless there's a really heavy snowfall, very predictable. Parking is limited, though, and traffic just off the freeway is heavily congested. The dedicated lots are first-come, first-served and fill up so you'll almost certainly have to park on the street somewhere and walk a lot. This is probably more of an issue at Summit West than the other areas, but get there early and be prepared for a hike. You can buy your lift ticket online and, if you are going to rent gear, you can make those plans online as well. Do it! When you arrive, you can skip the lines. The base areas are pretty typical in terms of facilities and crowds. The runs, though, are very short on average. There is one that's over a mile long, at Alpental, but most are under half a mile. The terrain definitely tends toward intermediate and beginner slopes. If you want to do more advanced runs, you should go to Alpental, but even there the difficulty is somewhat overstated, with runs that would be considered intermediate elsewhere listed as advanced. If you are in Seattle and you or your kids are learning to ski, this is a great option: it's convenient, doesn't require a lot of time or money, and has good transitional experiences. And if you make the decision to ski on the spur of the moment, it's right there. It also has a lot of really good night skiing options if you make your decision in the afternoon. As you become more advanced, Alpental is a great alternative when you don't want to spend the extra time and money to get to Crystal or the other larger, more diverse sites in the northwest.

They had several nicely groomed areas for beginners to play around on. Communication is not a stong suit for this outfit. Apparently there are yellow trails "just around the corner" and the nordic day pass gets you two lift rides but I'm not sure which lifts or if I even need a pass if I'm just going to ski around the beginner area and stay off the lift. Also, parking is a nightmare. Get there early...like before 10 am on the weekend because the nordic ski rentals sell out. In all, it was really fun but better communication systems and parking options would have made it nicer.

Cool place has its own cafe and sit down area also place to rent snow shoes an skies no snow boared that i saw though.. Lots of areas around this place as will to play in the snow or even take a walk in the snow. The places you will park at well have lots of snow and some dips but over all not too bad.

Arrived in time for the 1pm lesson with Craig Peterson. What a wonderful and well informed coach. He was patient and challenged each of us out of our comfort zones. Well worth the money invested. Will definitely come again.
